If you’ve ever struggled with what to do next, remember this:
You can just do things.
For decades this mantra has been the foundation of what it means to be an American. Entrepreneurs, Business Owners and Investors have realized the best way to get the wealth they’ve been praying for is to do something about it themselves. Leave behind the days of having to request time off as an adult and set your own schedule centered around the things that bring you joy and happiness.
In 2013 I left a stable job at a $100M Nonprofit in Nashville, Tennessee to launch an idea into a brand. I had no backup plan, only a whim of Faith and a deep burden that I was made for more.
This is why I recently started investing into my personal brand. I don’t want to only share my best ideas with a client or two, but rather with all of you. To help you achieve the success that our clients have achieved over the past 13+ years.
Here’s a list of a few of those wins from the work I’ve been privileged to do:
Launched an online payment funnel for an Alabama Nonprofit that grew them $2M in just 18 months.
Helped build a brand for a Food Pantry expansion in Georgia and built a campaign around it that led to $530K raised (more than 25% of their overall budget)
Launched an ads funnel that hit 30M views
Launched a new brand that recently exited for multiple $7-figures
Built a website and e-commerce engine for a brand focused on new dads that ran a successful Kickstarter
Coached countless brands and creators to Virality on Instagram and Ad Campaigns
Building and Launching Brands is some of my favorite stuff and that’s why I was extra excited when Bryan Draper, President of The Agape Initiative, asked me to be on the board of his new Nonprofit focused on breaking generational trauma. Bryan and I coached baseball together for several years and I had a front row seat watching how hard he and his wife Ashleigh worked to get this off the ground.

Being vulnerable is a great first step. So is being honest to yourself. You don’t want to wake up in another 5, 10, or 25 years and be filled with regret from all the actions you never took.
I can still hear Pastor Craig Groeschel’s voice today and the chills that were sent down my spine when he preached, “to step toward your destiny, sometimes you have to step away from your security.”
STOP putting off what you know you need to do. This newsletter is not for men that just read passively, it’s for the doers, builders, dreamers, thinkers, creatives, and challengers that will not rest until they’ve created something and shared it with the world.
Hunting the Wild with Clay

A 64-year-old sent to me a while back and told me he doesn’t even have a best friend and had never been married and was trying to stay committed to the Lord but still felt lonely every day. My friend Kenyon from our church had a short message to share with me on the golf course. To sum it up: you have to take the first step and get a group of guys in your corner to sharpen you.
A Prayer for the Week
Lord, give us the wisdom to recognize what You’ve placed on our hearts and the courage to act on it. Keep us from allowing fear, comfort, or security to hold us back from where You’re calling us.
Help us be vulnerable, surround ourselves with men who sharpen us, and use what You’ve given us to serve others, lead our families, and build something that matters.
Remind us that faith isn’t passive. Give us the courage to trust You, take the first step, and do the work.
