This first part of Soulfire isn’t theory, it’s the foundation I’m building everything else on. Before we can talk about leading a family or building a business, we have to talk about the fire that fuels it all: faith, calling, and purpose.
I’m walking through these six pillars with you because they’re the exact ones I’ve had to fight for in my own life:
Identity in Christ when the world wanted to define me.
Calling over comfort when my career looked easier than my calling.
Breaking lies that whispered I wasn’t enough.
Renewing my mind daily when doubt tried to set in.
Habits of faith that built quiet strength.
Courage to step forward when fear said to stand still.
This is the blueprint I’m using to build what God has put in me and I want you to see it as it’s unfolding. Week by week, I’m not just handing you content. I’m showing you the exact process I’m living, so you can light the same fire in your own life.
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God
Loving and leading your family with strength and purpose.
After igniting the fire of faith, the next step is fanning it into the place that matters most — the home. If my faith isn’t alive in how I love my wife and lead my kids, then all the business wins in the world mean nothing.
This week I’m building out the framework I’ve been fighting for inside my own four walls:
Family as my first ministry when busyness tries to take the lead.
The husband’s high calling when selfishness would be easier.
Fatherhood that shapes generations when convenience tempts me to coast.
The power of presence when providing things feels like enough.
Covenant over contract when culture treats love as disposable.
Love that leads with strength when comfort would keep me passive.
This is where the fire grows stronger. Faith isn’t just personal; it’s generational. I’m not just building a business, I’m building a legacy — and that starts with how I lead at home.
For our God is a consuming fire.
Becoming the leader you need to be to build the business you’re called to build.
Once faith is ignited and the flame is fanned at home, the fire has to move outward. This is where leadership and business collide. The goal isn’t just to make money, it’s to build something that lasts. Something that reflects God’s calling on your life and creates a positive impact in the lives of others..
Here’s what I’m building into my own life and what we’ll walk through together:
Becoming the man who leads himself because you can’t lead others if you can’t first lead you.
Leadership that others want to follow by learning to inspire, not just instruct.
Discipline that drives results with structure, habits, and stewardship that scale.
Business built on biblical wisdom rooted in principles that don’t bend with culture.
Multiplying impact through stewardship by handling resources in ways that fuel Kingdom growth.
The legacy of a Kingdom builder by shifting focus from temporary wins to eternal impact.
This is the part most men rush to first. But without faith and family, it collapses. That’s why we build in order. I’m showing you exactly how I’m structuring my business around the fire God has lit in me so that it doesn’t just succeed, it endures.

One Big Takeaway This Week
Courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s obedience in spite of it. Every man will face moments where fear says, “You can’t,” but faith says, “God already has.”
The takeaway this week is simple: step forward anyway.
In your faith: open your Bible when distraction tempts you.
In your family: speak life when silence would be easier.
In your business: take the risk God’s been nudging you toward.
👉 When fear rises, pray this:
“Lord, give me courage to obey when it’s uncomfortable, to lead when it feels heavy, and to trust You when the outcome isn’t clear.”
Courage is built one act of faith at a time. Don’t wait until you feel ready — the fire grows when you move.
